The six-cylinder, turbocharged 6WG1-TC realizes ISUZU's objective of creating an engine that offers internal parts and overhead camshaft design make the highly efficient 6WG1-TC easy on the environment and pocket-book. Refinements in the injection system provide optimal fuel atomization, and are another reason for the high output, great torque and reduced smoke emissions of the 6WG1-TC.

With a displacement of 15,681cc, the 6-cylinder 6WG1-TC puts out 294kw (400PS) at 1,800rpm with a torque of 1,765Nm (180kg.m) at 1,300rpm (ISO GROSS).
